Portfolio Tips
- Have your logo embossed into
the cover to give your book a subtle, yet elegant appearance!
- Emboss your logo, and apply a color
print to it to really make
your name stand out!

- The 80’s are back! Take advantage of the retro fad and
get a book with style in patent vinyl.
- Order enough pages in your book so that you can fill it, and
add a couple more, but not too many that it looks empty. A book
always looks most professional when it’s full.
- Go for a multi colored
print book to really show off your style!
- Go for the fresh and frosty look with a unique plexi-portfolio
book.
- Personalize it even more by adding a colored gel, or film in
a color of your choice.
- Be different! Make the front cover of your book translucent,
but the back solid in a bright color!
- Apply a clear overlay to protect your book, and give it a healthy
shine.
- Want a color that we don’t have? Make laser copies of
it and have it sealed into a clear
overlay!
- Personalize your book for your clients! Print up covers that
say something personal, or have something hand written, and slide
it into the front or back clear
overlay cover. Just ask for a
clear overlay with an opening where you want it!
Keep your books organized by placing a name tag
pocket on the
spine of the book.
- Keep your books neat and tidy when shipping them to your clients
by ordering a clear courier
pocket on the front or back of your
book, so that you can just slide in their address and avoid writing
it or slapping on a sticker.
- Have your address printed underneath the courier
pocket so
that when your client removes their address, yours is there waiting
to send your book back to you!
Place your business card in a clear
business card pocket on
the inside front cover of the portfolio book, or anywhere else
you like.
- Have your book reflect your agency’s image. If you consider
yourself to be more elegant and classy, go with the Vienna
book.
If, on the other hand, your style is trendy and cool, go with
the frosty
plexi-glass.
- Sometimes small is big! A smaller book may stand out amongst
other agencies’ books since it’s unique and of a
different size.
